Lubna Emam is an iconic artist of Raqs Sharki from Cairo, Egypt. She got engaged with the traditional dances of Egypt when she was only nine years old - she trained with the Egyptian Kaomeya Troupe. Her performances are unforgettable, radiating joy and love for art and respect towards her own cultural heritage. She has been traveling all around the world most of her life, first while performing with the Kaomeya Troupe and other Egyptian folkloric groups.

Mercedes Nieto is an internationally acclaimed oriental dance artist form a Hungarian-Spanish family, based in Budapest, Hungary. World famous of her delicate, elegant, yet passionate dance style, which is innovative and unique. She has spent a decade touring around the World: since 2009 she had been teaching and performing in more than 50 countries at around 30 different oriental dance events worldwide yearly.

Shahrzad is a professional dance instructor and performer specializing in Raqs Sharqi and traditional and social dance styles from around North Africa and the Middle East. To supplement her 20+ years of dance training Shahrzad also holds several fitness certifications including becoming a PMA certified Pilates instructor in 2013.

Ahmed Refaat, artistic director and founder of Egyptian Dance Arts Academy, is a folkloric dancer, master teacher and choreographer with over 35 years of experience. He started his career at the age of 9 in the El Gezira Youth Center’s Folkloric Dance Troupe where he worked for many years under master teacher Mokhtar Mustafa. At the age of 17, Ahmed became an instructor of this youth center and he was responsible for training the young and potential upcoming dancers.

Shengsong Guan and Rita are visionary oriental dancers from Beijing, China, where they own a well known dance studio and held an international dance festival every year. They have been captivating audiences all around the world for more than a decade. Guan won the world famous NILE GROUP international cup in China, as first male dancer ever, obtaining recognition of the world's top masters to become one of the new generation of the oriental dance stars.
